Webinar: Connecting the dots to reduce radon risk
Radon is a lung cancer risk. Health Canada’s National Radon Program with the assistance of many great stakeholder partnerships have steadily increased awareness about the health impacts, how to test and mitigate radon exposures. However, most Canadians still have not taken action to reduce the estimated 3200 lung cancer cases related to radon exposure. We will cover what we have done, what works and how you can get involved. Following this webinar, we hope you will integrate radon into public health education and awareness activities, policies and programs. We are ready to collaborate with you to improve the health of Canadians. Adding the voice of public health is an important step towards action.
