Hosted by NCCHPP
Public health systems in Canada are operating in a context of increasing demands and growing complexity. In this context, public health competency frameworks serve as a key lever for strengthening capacity by supporting training, professional development, and more consistent practice.
Hosted by the NCCHPP and the NCCDH on behalf of the National Collaborating Centres (NCCs), this webinar will present the Core Competencies for Public Health in Canada: Release 2.0, developed through extensive pan-Canadian engagement by the NCCs. The session will also feature two complementary frameworks: Public Health Communication Competency Framework and Organizational Leadership Competencies for Public Health System Governance.
