Renowned author and activist Bill McKibben has for decades been at the forefront of environmental campaigns centred on the growing climate crisis. Schumann Distinguished Scholar at Middlebury College in Vermont, he is author of some twenty books. His numerous honours include the Gandhi Peace Award in 2013. He has been named one of world's most important global thinkers and America?s most important environmentalist.
