Wildfire smoke poses a significant threat to indoor air quality. Inhaling smoke can be harmful to health. Taking steps to protect IAQ during emergencies and wildfire smoke events can reduce health risks, particularly for at-risk populations. This webinar will provide public health and safety professionals, facility managers, and school administrators with actionable strategies and technical resources to prepare for and respond to wildfire smoke events using the EPA’s IAQ Tools for Schools resources and Wildfires and IAQ in Schools and Commercial Buildings guidance, as well as the newly released ASHRAE Guideline 44-2024 as a basis for planning and action.
