Hosted by Environmental Health Association of Canada
Join the Environmental Health Association of Canada and Québec for a workshop exploring how indoor air quality impacts accessibility in the built environment.
Drawing on emerging science, accessibility law, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and lived experience, this session will examine how environmental factors can create barriers to participation and inclusion. Participants will learn about biological sensitization, source control, fragrance-free approaches, and lowest-emission practices that support healthier, more accessible spaces.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is open to everyone and may be especially relevant to students, administrators, municipalities, policymakers, healthcare professionals, disability advocates, employers, employees, and individuals with lived experience interested in accessibility, public health, and inclusive environments.
