This presentation screens two films that were developed through a participatory action approach to share experiences related to climate change. One film was developed by youth involved with Home Base Yellowknife, an organization that supports young people who lack housing or are precariously housed. The second film was developed by Indigenous leaders and community members from the Philippines who now reside in Toronto. These films are part of a broader national initiative that is working to address disproportionate health impacts of climate change on individuals and communities experiencing poverty, marginalization, and social exclusion across Canada.
