Hosted by International Society for Environmental Epidemiology
Climate change is not only an environmental and physical health crisis, it also has profound impacts on mental health. These effects are diverse, ranging from direct trauma during extreme weather events to more chronic psychological stressors caused by gradual environmental degradation. This webinar will review the impacts of climate change on mental health, across various populations, and discuss pathways for building resilience and emotional well-being in a changing climate.
"Climate Change and Mental Health," is the second of three webinars in a series on Climate Change organized by the European and North American Chapters, along with the Student and New Researchers Network, of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology.
