Hosted by US EPA
Chemical Exposure Knowledgebase (ChemExpo) is a new public-facing data search and visualization tool for exploring chemical data relevant to exposure assessment. This presentation will provide an overview of ChemExpo’s functionality including its unique landing pages for chemicals, categories and keywords. ChemExpo contains data collected by EPA on how chemicals are used in commerce and how they occur in consumer and industrial products. The ChemExpo team actively works to curate these data to specific consumer and occupational product categories, to chemical functional uses, and to substance identifiers used by EPA. ChemExpo provides the chemical use data to support the development of exposure predictions, which are available in the Comptox Chemicals Dashboard.
ChemExpo is currently in its beta release and is gathering feedback on usability, which will be incorporated into the final version of the application.
