Vanessa Cleven, MA

Vanessa is a communications specialist with a MA in Media Studies from Concordia University in Montreal, with a focus on health communications. She also holds a BA in Communications with a minor in Publishing from Simon Fraser University. Vanessa worked at the UBC Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcomes Sciences assisting the Chair of Mental Health and Addictions and was the Communications Specialist for the UBC Centre for Health Sciences and Policy Research. Prior to joining BCCDC, she started her own web development company specializing in WordPress development. She is a versatile communicator with an extensive skillset in digital and print development, social media management, writing, and event planning.
