Using shared laundry facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic

Although COVID-19 is primarily spread by direct contact with an infected person or their respiratory droplets, it may also be possible to transmit the virus by touching a contaminated surface, and then touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. If you rely on a laundromat or shared laundry facility to wash your clothes, there are some simple precautions that you can take to reduce your risk of COVID-19 transmission from potentially contaminated surfaces. This poster highlights the Dos and DON’Ts of laundry in shared facilities.
