National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy (NCCHPP) - Public Health Ethics and Equity: Naming and Navigating Ethical Issues in Public Health Practice

The National Collaborating Centres for Determinants of Health (NCCDH) and Healthy Public Policy (NCCHPP) are pleased to invite you to a webinar showcasing the findings of the Equity Lens in Public Health (ELPH) research project on public health ethics and the process of navigating ethical issues in public health practice.
During this webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about everyday ethical issues encountered by practitioners in their efforts to reduce health inequities associated with mental health and psychoactive substance use in BC and how public health practitioners are navigating and managing these in their practice. Participants will increase awareness and knowledge of public health ethics issues as well as strategies and resources for navigating ethical issues in public health.
Who should attend?
This webinar is intended for public health practitioners at all levels who have an interest in health equity issues. Cross-disciplinary groups are encouraged to attend to stimulate conversation at the local level.
