Elizabeth Loftus, MPH
Project Coordinator
Elizabeth is a Project Coordinator at the NCCEH. She holds a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences (Health Promotion) from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH), University of Toronto (U of T) (2024). Elizabeth has previously worked as a Climate Change and Health Project Assistant on the National Adaptation Strategy Team at the Climate Change and Innovation Bureau, Health Canada. Additionally, she has worked for the Centre for Vaccine Preventable Diseases (CVPD) and the Centre for Global Health (CGH) at the DLSPH, U of T from 2019-2022, as well as at the MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, from 2018-2020. Elizabeth has a keen interest in the intersection of the climate crisis and health equity, and social policy, at local and global levels, and is fascinated by the role that public health actors can play in climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts in Canada, and globally. Outside of work and school, Elizabeth enjoys trying new baking recipes, and exploring Vancouver.
